Fay's 2 month update

Fay is 2 months old, already. We saw Dr. Pesce today for her check up and for her first set of vaccinations. She weighed 14 pounds and 3 ounces, was 24 inches long, and was in the 97th percentile. The nurses were all making a fuss over her and all of her rolls. Dr. Pesce called her his Chubette. Evidently, the 8-meals-a-day diet is paying off!
She has hit all of her milestones so far. She coos, she is holding her head up with minimal support, she studies objects (pictures, faces, and fans are a few of her favorites) and she smiles, a lot. She is a very happy baby and you will usually find her smiling. And then came the dreaded shots. 5 of them. I just had to cry right along with her. My little sweetheart was screaming her head off! But she stopped as soon as I picked her up thank goodness.
We had to pick up Ross at Tim's office after and since Bayfront is right next door I took Fay to meet the girls I work with. They couldnt get over how big of a baby she is! They said that she looked like Tim too, surprise surprise.
At home today Fay was a little fussy and you could tell that she was not feeling like herself. So we just laid around and I cuddled with her as much as I could.

Other fun Fay facts:
-around 7 weeks she started sleeping 6-7 hours at night
-she has been to Disney World three times so far
-LOVES her bath
-dislikes getting out the bath
-she can still wear some 0-3 but is mostly in 3-6
-has grown out of her 1-2 diapers
-loves to be rocked in the rocking chair
-dislikes being put in her car seat
-loves to eat every 3 hours
-loves to sleep with her mommy and daddy. Yes, we are a co-sleeping family! We have the Arms Reach co-sleeper and I absolutely love, love, love it. I would give anything if I would have had it when Ross was a baby. But every now and then Fay will just sleep in the bed with us. I love having my babies in the bed to snuggle with. I would still have Ross in the bed with us except he prefers his crib and doesnt sleep well anywhere else.

I cant believe that she has been here with us for 2 months already but then again I cant imagine our lives without her. Stay tuned for more updates! Fay has a couple of firsts coming up soon. Her first trip to Alabama along with her first plane ride this weekend. And then we are going house hunting in Kentucky November 5, this will be a first for all 4 of us since no one has ever visited Kentucky before!
